Julian Nagelsmann: “The news of Marc’s injury was a bitter pill to swallow. Marc will be missed by the national team, both on and off the pitch. We wish Marc all the best for his operation as well a speedy recovery. We will support him in every step of his journey back to fitness.”
Rudi Völler: “I am so sorry for Marc. I wish him the speediest possible recovery and everyone with the national side is ready to support him on the road towards his comeback. Marc has already had to battle against a number of setbacks in his career and once again he will come back stronger than before. I am sure of that.”
Andreas Kronenberg: “It is such disheartening news. Marc is such a key figure for both FC Barcelona and the national team. He can be assured of great support now from his family, his club and the national side. We wish Marc strength and a speedy recovery. That is the most important thing right now!”
