New adidas Germany home kit unveiled

The Germany national teams’ new home jersey has been revealed by long-term DFB partner adidas. The shirt will make its first appearance when the men’s national team face Luxembourg in their upcoming World Cup qualifier on 14th November (kick-off: 20:45 CET). Should Julian Nagelsmann’s team successfully qualify, they will wear the kit at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico. The new design will also be worn by the DFB Women and all of Germany’s youth national teams with immediate effect.
The jersey pays tribute to some of Germany’s most iconic World Cup kits and greatest tournament triumphs. It features a traditional white base with a striking diamond pattern in black, red and gold – a nod to classic shirts from past tournaments. The bold zigzag design draws inspiration from the 1994 kit, worn when the USA hosted the World Cup for the first time. Combined with black shorts and white socks, which also feature the diamond motif, the result is a modern look that honours the roots and visual identity of the Germany national team.
Woltemade: “It’s world-class”
Germany forward Nick Woltemade is a big fan of the new strip: “I can’t remember the last time I thought a shirt looked this cool. I love the design – it’s got a great retro feel. I think it’s world-class and I can’t wait to wear it on the pitch.”
The new Germany home kit will be available from 10:00 CET on Thursday, 6th November via www.adidas.com, adidas stores, the official DFB fan shop and selected retailers. The jersey is priced at €100 for adults and €75 for children.
