"We have proven that we are a good and reliable host for such a major sporting event"
DFB General Secretary Heike Ullrich: “We look forward to the bidding process with confidence, not least because of the inspiring UEFA EURO 2024, our exceptional stadium infrastructure and the great cooperation with our host cities and our local contacts, which have proven that we are a good and reliable host for such a major sporting event.”

After the deadline for the declaration of interest passes on 24th September 2024, the DFB will contact the operators of the stadiums that meet UEFA’s requirements and their respective cities, inviting them to apply to the DFB as potential host cities.
Winning bid will be announced in December 2025
