Germany to wear 1990 retro kit in Amsterdam

The Germany national team will wear a retro version of their 1990 away kit for Jürgen Klopp’s first match in charge. The DFB-Team will line up in adidas’ green shirts for their opening UEFA Nations League fixture of the new season against the Netherlands in Amsterdam on 24th September (20:45 CEST). Germany wore the kit on their way to winning the 1990 World Cup in Italy, including in the iconic semi-final victory over England on penalties.
Ahead of the 2026 World Cup, DFB partner adidas launched a Bringback collection featuring five reissued designs inspired by iconic Germany shirts from the past, including the 1990 away kit.
The shirt is available from the official DFB fan shop here.
