Womens National Team win 3-1 against Nigeria

The German Womens National Team won the friendly match against Nigeria on Saturday 3-1 (2-0). Petra Wimbersky (7.), Birgit Prinz (27.) und Steffi Jones (89.) netted for the World Champions in front of 5567 fans in Offenbach.

The team of German Coach Tina Theune-Meyer showed a much better performance than on Wednesday, when it lost 0-1 to Norway. Nigerias goal was scored by Ajumah Ameh (86.). Both teams are already qualifiyed for the Olympics in Athens.
