MSV Duisburg drop points against Osnabrück

MSV Duisburg were held to a 1-1 draw at home by VfL Osnabrück on matchday 27 in Germany's 3. Liga. Duisburg missed the opportunity to jump into second place and remain third, while Osnabrück continue to drop down the table and are currently in 12th.

Marcos Álvarez scored the opener for the visitors (38') but Kingsley Onuegbu (61') bagged the equaliser in the second half. Both teams looked for the winner but to no avail as the points were shared.

Arminia Bielefeld successfully defended their lead at the top of the table. They beat SpVgg Unterhaching 4-0 at home. SC Preußen Münster prevented a third consecutive league defeat by grabbing a late equaliser to draw 2-2 with SV Wehen Wiesbaden. Preußen's Mehmet Kara opened the scoring (13') before Wiesbaden looked to have completely turned the game in their favour thanks to goals from David Blacha (53') and José Vunguidica (70'). Kara's second goal of the day with minutes left to play (87') secured a point for Münster.

Stuttgarter Kickers kept pace with the chasing pack thanks to a 2-0 away victory against Fortuna Köln. The win sees Kickers jump to sixth place, just one point behind the promotion play-off spot. The game was ultimately decided in the first half with both Enzo Marchese (19'), who scored a penalty, and Randy Edwini-Bonsu (32') netting before the break.

Hansa Rostock fought back from a goal down to secure a last-minute 2-1 victory at Hallescher FC. Halle took the lead through Akaki Gogia's free kick in the first half (38'). Marcel Ziemer grabbed the equaliser (74') before Oliver Hüsing scored the late winner (90'). Despite the win, Rostock remain in 16th place but are now five points clear of the relegation zone. Halle are 13th, five points ahead of Hansa.

Chemnitzer FC came from behind to secure a 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund II thanks to goals from Anton Fink (40', 57') and Philip Türpitz (69'). Edisson Jordanov (37') had given Dortmund the lead in the first half.

Dynamo Dresden recorded a 3-2 win against bottom side Jahn Regensburg. Justin Eilers scored a first half hat-trick with goals in the 8th, 26th and 29th minute. His third goal came from the penalty spot. Uwe Hesse's goal eight minutes after the restart gave Regensburg renewed hope and when Kolja Pusch reduced Dresden's lead to just one goal in the 73rd minute they looked the better team. However, Regensburg failed to find a late equaliser and suffered their 18th defeat of the season.

Michele Rizzi's penalty gave Großaspach the lead after 32 minutes before Uwe Mörhle equalised midway through the second half (65').
