Investigation of DFB history between 1933 and 1945

For the first time the German football association (DFB) has given away an external order to the investigation of its own history and has taken over its financing. Under guidance of professor Klaus Hildebrand of the university of Bonn the free historian Nils Havemann from Mainz should investigate the DFB-history between 1933 and 1945 during the next three years.

The first six months are intended for the basic research. Only afterwards it will be possible to submit an exact draft and an arrangement for the work. So far no scientific elaboration for the named period is known to the DFB, but that will be changed now. [hg]
