German women win against Scotland

The German women's national team won the first qualification game for the European Championship in 2005 in England. The Germans defeated Scotland 5-0 in the Karl-Liebknecht-Stadion of Potsdam.

Inka Grings from Bundesliga club FCR Duisburg scored three times, Birgit Prinz (1. FFC Frankfurt) twice. Prinz, who played her 100th game in the German shirt, will travel to the USA next Monday to play for WUSA champions Carolina Courage.
