Four Nations Cup: Scoreless tie between Germany and China

The women team of the German football association (DFB) continued the Four Nations Cup with the seconds scoreless tie against the host-nation China.

"I am pleased with the performance of my team. Our defence worked good and organized. The only thing I have to critize is the lack of using our chances to score", german manager Silvia Neid said.

Germany played without Goalkeeper Silke Rottenberg, who suffers a knee injury.

Line-up Germany: Ullrich - Stegemann, Krahn, Hingst, Fuss (46. Rech) - Bajramaj, Omilade, Bresonik, Pohlers (70. Okoyino da Mbabi) - Wimbersky (76. Behringer), Müller (70. Mittag).

Host-nation China had defeated England in the opening game of the tournament in Guangzhou, with Zhang Ying (16.) and Han Duan (45.) scoring the goals. Germany will play England on Tuesday.
