FC Bayern victorious against RSC Anderlecht

Bundesliga record champions, Bayern Munich have a fourth Champions League victory under their belts. However, they were made to work for it in Anderlecht. After Lewandowski had given Bayern the lead early in the second half, the hosts hit back, and equalized after the hour mark. However, the three points were ultimately secured, as Corentin Tolisso headed the visitors back in front, who then saw out the remaining fifteen minutes. Having already secured qualification, Bayern still sit in second place in Group B, behind PSG with just one group game still to play.

7-1 against Celtic: PSG all-but secure top spot

Julian Draxler and PSG have reinforced their position at the top of Group B, courtesy of a 7-1 victory against Celtic. PSG now have a goal difference of +23, making it unlikely that Bayern will be able to leapfrog them when they face each other on the final group stage matchday.

Meanwhile, Barcelona and keeper Marc-André ter Stegen are now guaranteed to finish first in Group D after drawing 0-0 with Juventus. Furthermore, earlier this evening, Antonio Rüdiger and Chelsea secured qualification to the last 16 with a 0-4 win over 10-man Qarabag. Although, while they currently sit top of Group C heading into the final group game, first place is not yet guaranteed, as Roma are only two points adrift.

Draxler and PSG fall behind early on

Germany international keeper, ter Stegen kept his fourth clean sheet in five European games as Barcelona played out a goalless draw with Juventus. Sami Khedira started for the Italian side, who sit in second place in their group, but are yet to secure qualification.

Draxler started for PSG in Glasgow, but the French side fell behind early on as Moussa Dembele struck. However, the French champions responded emphatically, scoring four goals in the first half. They went on to add three more in the second, as the match finished 1-7.
