Can and Klopp clinch victory at Chelsea

Germany international Emre Can and his new coach Jürgen Klopp recorded a 3-1 victory in their highly anticipated encounter away to José Mourinho’s Chelsea. It was the sixth defeat of the season for the Blues as the defending champions continue to struggle. Klopp, on the other hand, celebrated his first Premier League victory after having previously only managed two draws with new club Liverpool.

The victory sees the Reds close in on the Europa League spots, having now recorded 17 points from eleven games. Chelsea, meanwhile, have eleven points to their name and sit close to the relegation zone.

Klopp's team managed a comeback thanks to Philippe Coutinho's brace a stoppage-time goal by substitute Christian Benteke after Ramires had put Chelsea ahead four minutes into the game. Can played the full 90 minutes and impressed with his composure in defensive situations.
