Löw, Neuer and Kroos nominated for FIFA awards

Germany first team head coach Joachim Löw is one of the twelve candidates who have been nominated for The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2017 award. Germany captain Manuel Neuer and Champions League winner Toni Kroos have both been nominated for The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2017 award. Bundesliga players Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund), Robert Lewandowski and Arturo Vidal (FC Bayern München) have all also been nominated for the award. A jury of FIFA legends made the pre-selection for the nominations.

The winners of The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2017 and The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2017 awards will be decided by votes from the captains and coaches of national teams as well as by votes from chosen members of the media. Voting will open on fifa.com on Monday and will close on 7th September. The three nominees selected for the final vote will be announced by mid-September. “The Best FIFA Football Awards” ceremony will take place in London on 23rd October.
