Löw & Co. keep an eye on the World Champions

200 days have passed since the final in Rio. At 20:30 CET tonight, the World Champions’ league returns for the second half of the season, with VfL Wolfsburg hosting Bayern München. In other words, the second-placed team face the table-toppers in what will be likely to be a top notch game. The Bayern team features five World Champions and it looks like the Wolfsburg squad will contain one soon as well.

The restart of the Bundesliga also means that the Germany national team's coaching and scouting staff get back to work. Manager Joachim Löw and his colleagues will have a lot of distance to cover. Over the weekend and the upcoming midweek fixtures, they will watch seven matches between them. The coaches Joachim Löw, Thomas Schneider and Andreas Köpke plan to attend fixtures all over the country.

The busy weekend starts tonight. The manager and his assistant will be in Wolfsburg. After that they plan to head down to the Ruhr Valley to watch Schalke 04 play Hannover 96 on Saturday at 15:30 CET. After that game they, need to hurry and cover a distance of 75 kilometres in 75 minutes, because Bayer Leverkusen kick off at home against Borussia Dortmund at 18:30 CET.
