Lira Alushi scores in Paris win

An early matchday 20 clash in the French top-flight saw a clear Paris St. Germain victory over AS St. Etienne. The 7-0 win helped ladies from the capital to extend their lead at the top of the table. Once again, Germany international Lira Alushi managed to add her name to the scoresheet.

72 minutes into the match Alushi put her team 4-0 ahead. She nearly got another one, but her effort just before the break was ruled offside. Annike Krahn was the second German to play over the full 90 minutes. Josephine Henning and Ann-Katrin Berger were unused substitutes.

The first-half goals were scored by Kenza Dali and Aurélie Kaci. Marie-Laure Delie scored twice after the break and Laura Georges and super-sub Ouleye Sarr added another one each. The win means that Paris now sit at the top of the table with 69 points. Second-placed Olympique Lyonnais are only five points behind and still have got two more matches to play than the leaders.
