World Champion Miroslav Klose has triggered a clause in his contract with Serie A team Lazio. With his current contract due to expire at the end of the season, the World Cup record goalscorer has triggered now the option of extending his contract until 2016 thanks to making his 20th appearance. It’s now up to Klose to decide whether he stays.
Klose’s 20th appearance of the season was on Sunday in the 1-0 victory against Udinese. He started the match and won the penalty that produced the decisive goal.
