Bode (53./70.) and Daniel Bierofka (83.) scored the German goals. German midfielder Sebastian Deisler from Hertha BSC
Berlin was Deisler was taken out on a stretcher after banging knees with an Austrian player (21st minute).
After the match on Saturday the national team has two days off, before they meet up again in Neu-Isenburg on Tuesday to
fly to Japan on Wednesday. The national team will continue to Miyazagi where the Germans will stay during the preliminary
group phase. On June 1st the Germans will face Saudi Arabia in their first preliminary round game.
