U21 international Younes set to move to Ajax

U21 international Amin Younes is set to move from Borussia Mönchengladbach to Dutch record-holders Ajax. “We would’ve liked to agree a new contract with Amin Younes and then loan him out,” says Eberl in an interview with Sky Sport News HD. “But his desire was to go to Ajax, which is a great opportunity for Amin. We’ve reached an agreement and now it’s about the formalities, but it seems close.”

Younes spent last year out on loan with 1. FC Kaiserslautern from the 2. Bundesliga, making 15 appearances and scoring twice. He also played in all four of Germany’s matches at the European U21 Championship, where Germany lost to Portugal in the semi-final. Younes’ contract at Gladbach is due to expire in 2016.
