Podolski, who impressed throughout the final and has enjoyed a successful first season in Turkey, has scored 18 goals in 44 competitive appearances for Galatasaray to date. The 30-year-old, who will link up with Die Mannschaft in the coming days has now won three domestic cups, having previously been successful with Bayern München in 2008 and Arsenal in 2014.
