Kroos won the Champions League and the Club World Cup with Real Madrid this year. “Toni has become an international star. He is a definite in terms of our plans for defending our title at the World Cup at Russia 2018,” Löw said on the 26-year-old midfielder. “Toni has also matured a lot off the pitch. He takes responsibility, stands for clear values and is very sociable. He is an absolute role model.”
