FIFA World Ranking: Germany Women second behind USA

Germany Women have 2117 points to their name and stay second behind World Champions USA (2174) in the FIFA World Ranking. France (2068) are in third spot. They are followed by World Cup bronze medallists England (2033) and Australia (2014). There have been no changes in the remaining top ten slots.

Switzerland, meanwhile, are still on the up. German manager Martina Voss-Tecklenburg’s team, who reached the round of 16 at the 2015 World Cup in Canada, has moved up four places to 15th – their highest ever ranking – thanks to victories against Italy and the Czech Republic since March.

The next edition of the FIFA World Ranking will be released on the 26th August 2016.
