    U 21 win thriller in Greece thanks to three Mlapa goals

    Three goals by Hoffenheim striker Peniel Mlapa, one of them five minutes into injury time, secured Germany's Under 21 national Team a 5-4 (2-2) victory at Greece in the qualification for the EURO 2013. The team of DFB Coach Rainer Adrion celebrated their sixth win in as many matches.

    German Under 21 had a successful start in the qualification round for the European Championship 2013 as they beat Cyprus 4-1 (2-1) at Karlsruhe. Schalke's Lewis Holtby scored twice in the first half (9./36.), Daniel Didavi (66.) and Julian Draxler (80.) in the second.
