Three teams fighting for third place

Second Bundesliga goes in its final round. On Sunday at 1.30 pm cest three teams are still in the race for third place and the chance to promote in two duels with the 16th placed team of the Bundesliga. Fortuna Düsseldorf host MSV Duisburg. If Düsseldorf take three points, they secure third place. In Hamburg a direct duel between the other two contenders decides the possible lucky team, if Fortuna drops points: FC St. Pauli receive SC Paderborn.

At the end of the table four teams want to stay up. Alemannia Aachen need a win at 1860 München. Furthermore they must hope that Karlsruher SC lose their match against Eintracht Frankfurt. Two more teams are hoping for a loss of KSC: Facing relegation Erzgebirge Aue play against VfL Bochum and Energie Cottbus against Union Berlin.
