About the League-Cup

	Participants The 5 top-placed teams of the past Bundesliga-season and the Cup winner. If one of the 5 top-placed teams is also the Cup winner, the 6th placed team will take part.
	Television All games will be shown live on TV.
	Mode In the preliminary round the sixth of the Bundesliga play against the third placed team for the first spot in the semifinal. The winner of the match between the fourth and the fifth placed teams of the league table will get the second spot. The German Champion and the winner of the DFB-Cup are seeded for the semifinal. A draw after 90 minutes will immediately be followed by a penalty shoot-out.
