European Championships
The trophy

The "Coupe Henri Delauney" is well known at the DFB. The captain of a german national team could hold this trophy
already three times. The last captain was Jürgen Klinsmann, who received the trophy after winning the European Championship final
1996 England. However, the trophy did not pass into possession of the DFB, because the successful team receives only a faithful
replica.
The original trophy has a height of 50 cm and weighs 10 kg. The silver-plated trophy was named after the Frenchman, Henri
Delauny, the first Secretary General of the UEFA and initiator of the European Championship.
The European Championship trophy was designed by Arthur Bertand.
