The DFB head quarter is located in the vicinity of the Frankfurt stadium, and is run by General Secretary Helmut Sandrock. 

About 150 full time employees work in six different departments with the following fields of work:

Coordination of all media and PR matters, editorial support of DFB-Publications (DFB-Journal, DFB-topical, Press service, Official notes), World and European Championships books, press conferences, DFB website, providing media information for all national teams, public appearances of the DFB coaching staff and all national team players, all matters related to TV and radio broadcast, media partnerships

Marketing
