World Champion Klose spends day teaching at German school in Rome

World Champion Miroslav Klose spent a day as a “teacher” at a German school in Rome that his two twin sons Luan and Noah attend. The Lazio striker, who is beloved in Italy, answered questions from primary school pupils about his playing career and his experiences at the World Cup. A video containing his 16 goals, which made him the record goal scorer in World Cup history, was also shown.

“The most amazing moment of my career was the final whistle in the World Cup final in Brazil,” said the 36-year-old. “At that moment, you realise that you are a World Champion and the opposition cannot take the title away from you.”

Klose also spoke about his future: “I have a flat in Munich and sooner or later I will go back there. I feel at home in Rome, even though I don’t visit the city centre very often.”
