The DFB have announced today that the U21s team will start 2017 with two home friendlies against England and Portugal. These encounters will serve as preparation for the U21s European Championship in Poland, which will run from the 16th to the 30th of June, 2017.
Stefan Kuntz’ side will first face England on the 24th of March – the match venue has not yet been decided. Four days later, they’ll come up against Portugal in the Gazi-Stadion auf der Waldau in Stuttgart.
