Hertha Berlin will host Borussia Dortmund at the Olympiastadion on 19th or 20th April, while FC Bayern will welcome Werder Bremen to the Allianz Arena as they aim to reach their 21st cup final. The showpiece in the German capital will take place on 21st May.
The draw was conducted by head of acting DFB presidents Dr. Rainer Kock and DFB vice president for footballing operations and development Peter Frymuth on German TV channel ARD following the conclusion of the last quarterfinal. The competition’s defending champions are VfL Wolfsburg, who were knocked out in the second round by Bayern.
