The midfield strategist suffered a hairline crack in his fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot whilst playing for Real Madrid against CD Leganés on Sunday. It wasn’t an impact injury. The midfielder cannot train for the next ten days.
Appropriate treatment will be decided after a follow-up exam. Kroos will undergo a CT scan in Munich on Tuesday by national team doctor Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt.
