Germany coach Joachim Löw will not have Mats Hummels at his disposal for both the friendly against the USA in Cologne on Wednesday (20:45 CEST) and the EURO 2016 qualifier in Faro, Portugal, on Saturday against Gibraltar (20:45 CEST). The Borussia Dortmund defender has been struggling with a hip injury for several weeks and will be unavailable for both games.
Löw has also granted Jérôme Boateng a delayed arrival. The FC Bayern München defender won't join up with the rest of the squad until Wednesday. He will be available for the encounter with Gibraltar.
The rest of the team will meet up at the "Hyatt Regency" in Cologne by late on Sunday.
