Comprehensive victory for Frankfurt

1. FFC Frankfurt beat Bristol Academy 7-0 on Sunday to reach the semi-finals of the Women’s Champions League. Kerstin Garefrekes (8’) and Dzsenifer Marozsán (38’) scored in the first half; Mandy Islacker second half hat-trick (58’, 68’, 75’) as well as goals from Laura Störzel (87’) and Jana Löber (90’+3) completed the scoring. Frankfurt won last week’s first leg 5-0 in England.

Two semi-finals await

In three days time 1. FFC Frankfurt face Turbine Potsdam in a DFB Cup semi-final. Their next opponents on the European stage are Danish side Brøndby IF. The games will take place on 18th/19th and 25th/26th April.
